Rental is open on Wednesdays at 16-17

The Wasa Teater staff association rents out costumes on Wednesdays between 16:00 and 17:00, entrance through the main entrance at Sandögatan 7. These garments are not taken from the theatre’s costume warehouse.

All garments are discarded stage clothes and are rented to private individuals. All garments available for hire are presented below with a picture, price per week and indicate the largest body measurements you can have for the garment to fit. Take a look at the clothes, check your measurements and come to the rental wardrobe where you can try on the costume. The costume stock is currently being updated, and some garments have been removed from hire.

Abbreviations in the caption

• Hv. means neck width measured around the ‘root’ of the neck
• Öv. means bust measurement, measured around the widest part of the chest
• Mv. means waist width and is measured above the hip bone
• Stv. Means the bum width and is measured around the widest point of the bum

Instructions & rules for hire

The costume rental is open Wednesdays September to April at 16-17 at Vasallen.
The fee for the costume is paid by card at the theatre box office.
The costume is rented out for one week and returned to the costume hire at Vasallen.
If the costume is not returned by the deadline, the rental fee for the following week will be charged, etc.
The suit must be returned in the same condition as it was rented. The suit must not be washed or otherwise altered.
If the suit needs major repairs / dry cleaning due to careless use, the customer is responsible for the costs

The costume catalogue is currently being updated, and some garments have been removed from rental and other garments have been added.
